SCE charge ready panel upgrade
The rebate offsets panel upgrade costs to support EV charging equipment for single family customers only. Even if customers do not own an EV they must install a level 2 charger with the panel upgrade. Existing panel must be less than 200AMPs.

Qualification Criteria
Customers living is a disadvantaged community automatically qualify for a $2100 rebate which roughly offsets 40 to 50% of the total cost, depending on site assessment.

Customers living is a low-income household qualify for a $4100 rebate which roughly offsets 90 to 100% of the total cost, depending on site assessment. A low income household is defined as a household earning less than 80% of the area median income (AMI).
This option is not restricted to disadvantaged communities but limited to SCE service territory. One of two methods can be used to apply:

Proof of Public Assistance
