SCE SMALL SITE REBATE
Southern California Edison’s Small Site Rebate (SSR) program allows customers, in disadvantaged communities to install up to four (4) EV charging station ports at their multi-family, public sector, or business locations. (NOT FOR RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS). Residential customers may qualify for the Charge Ready Panel Upgrade Program.
The rebate offsets the costs for the EV charging equipment and infrastructure. The customer must contact a licensed C10 SCE Trade Ally for a site assessment to determine feasibility. Submitting an applicating DOES NOT guarantee qualification. SCE may also perform a site assessment, when they receive the application, to determine qualification.
The ideal applicant has dedicated parking spots either for employees, tenants, or customers. Once installed the chargers are the property of the applicant, typically it's monetized for added revenue streams. Maximum monetary benefit from the chargers is derived if the parking spaces is accessible to the public 24hrs – although not a qualification requirement.
Sattvic Energy promises to source equipment that will deliver fastest charge, instead of using slower chargers to maximize installation profits.
